Alert Readers..!! In past week a worm named "Ramnit" attacked 45000 facebook users in Uk & France. The users troubled for 2-3 days back up their accounts back. The facebook never faced this type of attack in recent days. Facebook engineers highlighted the worm & its activities and they worked on it and comeup with all accounts with in a day. Ramnit worms spread over 45k users with an aim to stole the login information, personal data & other details. This is reported by a computer security company of israeli named Seculert.
Facebook said that "last week we received from external security researchers a set of user credentials that had been harvested by a piece of malware,Our security experts have reviewed the data, and while the majority of the information was out-of-date, we have initiated remedial steps for all affected users to ensure the security of their accounts"
History reviews states that this Ramnit worm was initiated in April 2010 & it was exploded for stealing the financial activities like banking login information, financial activities etc.This worm not only work with internet also work in personal computers on Dual mode.But this time, it is targeting social networking gaint Facebook for stealing login informations.
Every thing is come under control of facebook engineers, but the malware creators are utilizing this to spread this worm almost in all corner of worlds.So be alert my readers..! Facebook informed the affected users to change the password .Dirty Hackers & spamers are around us & be alert to face them..
